Nirjhar Mazumder, who lives abroad and claims to be a journalist, wrote a Facebook post on a statement made by Mahmudur Rahman. As attachment the post carried a short clip of a video which was shot immediately after Mr Rahman was attacked. In that video Mr Rahman said something loudly while the police, court workers and some others were in front of him.
Nirjhar claimed in his Facebook post that in that clip Mr Rahman was heard attacking the Hindus. According to Nirjhar, Mr Rahman said: “(I) will skin the Hindus.” And, this post has become viral in Bangladesh and India.
I listened to that video clip, which is attached to my post. Please listen to the video very carefully. I am sure you will hear Mr Rahman saying: “Salute the Hindus (SALUTE MARO HINDUDER)”. Follow the movement of his right hand- how the palm touches his forehead- to be sure that he is talking about salute.
I am dead sure that Mr Rahman, a highly educated and enlightened man, can never utter such violently abusive words like “(I) will skin the Hindus”. He is not racist or communal, I can affirm. Whatever the so-called secular people in Bangladesh say about him are all mere propaganda.
Nirjhar and his clan are using such propaganda to arm India’s Hindutva groups against the nationalists of Bangladesh. The patriotic nationalists of Bangladesh are fighting ongoing Indian expansionism in the country. This fight is also targeted at the threateningly aggressive Hindutva movements in the neighbouring nation. Bangladeshi nationalists seek to continue this fight taking along the Hindus in the country.
Nirjhar has been caught red-handed distorting the statement of Mr Rahman. Nirjhar is one of those who are working as agents of Indian Hindutva groups outside India. He is a member of that group which is driving the propaganda of persecution of Bangladeshi Hindus, to garner more votes for the BJP in India.
All Bangladeshis should unite in fight against this propaganda of the pro-Hindutva groups. This fight is necessary to defeat the Indian expansionism, the aggressive Hindutva forces of BJP and to build a truly sovereign and self-respecting nation of Bangladesh.
নির্ঝর মজুমদার নামে এক প্রবাসে বসবাসরত ভদ্রলোক যিনি নিজেকে সাংবাদিক বলে দাবী করেন তিনি তার ফেইসবুক পোস্টে মাহমুদুর রহমানের বক্তব্য নিয়ে লিখেছেন। সেই পোস্টের সাথে তিনি একটা ভিডিও সংযুক্ত করেছেন যা কুষ্টিয়ার আদালতে মাহমুদুর রহমান ছাত্রলীগের হামলায় আহত ও রক্তাক্ত হবার পরে ধারণ করা হয়েছিল। সেই সময় মাহমুদুর রহমান উপস্থিত পুলিশ ও আদালতের কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারীদের উদ্দেশ্যে উচ্চস্বরে কিছু কথা বলছিলেন।
ওই ভিডিওটার একটা অংশ নিয়ে নির্ঝর মজুমদার দাবী করেছেন মাহমুদুর রহমান নাকি বলেছেন “চামড়া উঠাবো হিন্দুদের”। নির্ঝরের সেই পোস্টটি ভারত ও বাংলাদেশে ভাইরাল হয়।
আমি নির্ঝরের শেয়ার করা ভিডিওটা ভালো করে অনেকবার শুনেছি। এই পোস্টের সাথে তা যুক্ত করলাম। আপনারাও ভালো করে শুনে দেখুন তিনি (মাহমুদুর রহমান) বলছেন, “স্যালুট মারো হিন্দুদের”। সাথে হাতের মুভমেন্ট ও লক্ষ্য করুন।
আমি নিশ্চিত মাহমুদুর রহমানের মতো উচ্চশিক্ষিত এবং আলোকিত মানুষ “চামড়া তুলে নেব হিন্দুদের” এমন কোন বিভৎস কথা বলতে পারেন না। মাহমুদুর রহমান রেইসিস্ট নন, তিনি সাম্প্রদায়িক নন। তার বিরুদ্ধে যা যা প্রচার করা হয় বাংলাদেশের তথাকথিত স্যেকুলার শিবির থেকে তার পুরোটাই মিথ্যা।
নির্ঝরেরা ভারতীয় হিন্দুত্ববাদীদের হাতে মিথ্যাচার করে বাংলাদেশের দেশপ্রেমিক জাতিয়তাবাদীদের বিরুদ্ধে অস্ত্র তুলে দিতে চায়। বাংলাদেশে জাতিয়তাবাদী দেশপ্রেমিকরা বাংলাদেশের উপরে চলমান ভারতীয় আধিপত্যবাদের বিরুদ্ধে লড়ছে। সেইসাথে প্রতিবেশী দেশে হিন্দুত্ববাদের উত্থানের বিরুদ্ধে লড়ছে। বাংলাদেশের জাতিয়তাবাদীরা বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়কে সাথে নিয়েই এই লড়াই চালাতে চায়।
নির্ঝর অসৎ উদ্দেশ্য নিয়ে ছাড়ানো ভিডিওতে মাহমুদুর রহমানকে নিয়ে যে মিথ্যাচার করেছে তা হাতেনাতে ধরা পড়লো। নির্ঝরেরা ভারতীয় হিন্দুত্ববাদের এজেন্ট। বাংলাদেশে হিন্দু নির্যাতনের জুজু দেখিয়ে ভারতে বিজেপির ভোট বাক্সে বেশী ভোট ভরাতে চায়।
শিবসেনাদের অপপ্রচার সম্প্রদায় নির্বিশেষে রুখে দাড়ান। স্বাধীন আত্মমর্যাদাশীল ভবিষ্যত বাংলাদেশের জন্য ভারতীয় আধিপত্যবাদ ও বিজেপির হিন্দুত্ববাদের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই জারি রাখা জরুরী।
