Prof Rezaul Karim, a leading paediatric haemato oncology specialist of Chittagong Medical College, has faced punishment because in a comment on Facebook he criticised Mashrafe Mortaza, captain of the national cricket team of Bangladesh and an MP of the current fascist regime which retained power after rigging the election massively.
The super specialist doctor has been transferred to a hospital in Rangamati, Chittagong Hill Tract, where it does not have the infrastructure to treat super specialist paediatric haemato oncology cases. The doctor was issued a show cause notice by the health authorities for criticising Mashrafe in the Facebook comment, before he was transferred out of the Chittagong Medical College.
Transferring out a super specialist doctor this way to a remote hospital, purportedly to protect the honour of a political icon of a fascist party, is indeed a political crime. Now the leading super specialist doctor having been removed from the paediatric haemato oncology facility of Chittagong Medical College and Hospital, many treatable paediatric blood cancer cases will suffer badly there, perhaps being denied of proper treatment.
In several cases Mashrafe misbehaved with the doctors. Many doctors criticised Mashrafe for humiliating their colleagues.
Already several specialist doctors across the country have been transferred in the same style for criticising Mashrafe on Facebook. The captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team, who has shown his anti-people character, is also accused of indirectly abetting the killing of children.

উল্লেখ্য, পেডিয়াট্রিক হেমাটো অনকোলজির মতো সুপার স্পেশ্যালিস্ট বিষয়ে চিকিৎসা দেয়ার মতো কোন অবকাঠামোই রাঙ্গামাটিতে নাই। এই ধরণের একজন সুপার স্পেশ্যালিস্ট ডাক্তারকে শুধুমাত্র মাশরাফি মোরতাজার মতো একজন ফ্যাসিস্ট পার্টির রাজনৈতিক আইকনের সন্মান রক্ষার নামে রাঙ্গামাটিতে শাস্তিমূলক বদলী করা একটি পলিটিক্যাল ক্রাইম।
এই সুপার স্পেশ্যালিস্ট চিকিৎসকের অবর্তমানে এখন চট্রগ্রাম মেডিক্যাল কলেজে অসংখ্য শিশুর নিরাময়যোগ্য রক্তের ক্যান্সারের উপযুক্ত চিকিৎসা হবেনা হয়তো।
মাশরাফি অনেক ডাক্তারের সাথে দুর্ব্যবহার করেছেন। সেজন্য অনেক ডাক্তার ফেইসবুকে মাশরাফির সমালোচনা করেন।
ইতিমধ্যেই বেশ কয়েকজন সিনিয়র বিশেষজ্ঞ ডাক্তার কে একইভাবে বদলি করা হয়েছে ফেইসবুকে মাশরাফি’র সমালোচনা করার অপরাধে। বাংলাদেশের জাতীয় দলের ক্যাপ্টেন ও ফ্যাসিবাদী দলের সংসদ সদস্য মাশরাফি শুধু একজন গণবিরোধী মানুষই নন, পরোক্ষ শিশু হন্তারকও বটে।
