Awami League goons violently attacked the female campaigners of an opposition Oikya Front candidate. The women took shelter inside a nearby house to save themselves from the attacks. But, police forced into that house and arrested the wife of the candidate.
Everyday the Oikya Front candidates are being routinely attacked across the country. Strangely, police have not arrested or acted against any of the ruling party assailants.

ঐক্য ফ্রন্টের প্রার্থীর নির্বাচনী প্রচার চালানোর সময় প্রার্থীর স্ত্রী সহ নারী কর্মীদের উপরে আওয়ামী লীগের গুণ্ডারা আক্রমণ করে। আক্রমণ থেকে বাঁচার জন্য তারা আশেপাশের বিভিন্ন বাড়িতে আশ্রয় নিলে সেখান থেকে পুলিস প্রার্থীর স্ত্রীকে গ্রেফতার করে।
প্রত্যেকদিন যে নিয়ম করে বিরোধী প্রার্থীদের উপরে হামলা হচ্ছে। সেই হামলাকারীদের কাউকে কিন্তু পুলিস গ্রেফতার করেনি।
