Awami League, Chhatra League and Juba League goons are openly saying that they would not allow display of any election-related festoons-banners of Oikya Front. If they find three Oikya Front workers together, they would be tied, beaten up and their houses would be attacked, they have threatened.
The Election Commission is not taking cognizance of such ruling party threats which indeed amount to election-related violation of code of conduct. All election campaign related programmes of Oikya Front are being violently attacked. Awami League is not allowing any opposition party candidate to conduct campaign. The ruling party is indulging all such activities, targeting the opposition, right under the nose of the Election Commission.

সারা দেশেই এভাবে প্রকাশ্যে ছাত্রলীগ, আওয়ামী লীগ আর যুবলীগের গুণ্ডারা ঘোষণা দিচ্ছে যে ঐক্য ফ্রন্টের নির্বাচন সংক্রান্ত কোন ব্যানার ফেস্টুন টাঙানো যাবেনা, একসাথে ঐক্য ফ্রন্টের তিনজন দেখলে তাদের বেঁধে পিটানো হবে, তাদের ঘর বাড়িতে হামলা করা হবে।
নির্বাচন কমিশন এসব হুমকির বিষয়ে কিছুই বলছে না। ঐক্য ফ্রন্টের সকল নির্বাচনী কার্যক্রমে হামলা করা হচ্ছে, কাউকে নির্বাচনের মাঠেই নামতে দিচ্ছেনা আওয়ামী লীগ। নির্বাচন নামের এই তামাশা নির্বাচন কমিশনের নাকের ডগাতেই হচ্ছে।
