After the final draft of the National Register for Citizens (NRC) for Assam was published last week about 1.9 million residents of the state have been stateless. India’s ruling party of BJP identifiers these stateless people as Bangladeshis. After the NRC final draft was published Assam’s finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said: “Around 1.4 or 1.5 million people have been identified as foreigners (Bangladeshis). We will ask Bangladesh to take them back.”
Some time back, Amit Shah, chief of BJP called the Bangladeshi immigrants “termites”. He claimed that the Bangladeshis had illegally entered the voter lists in India and his government would hunt them out, to make the country “free from all termites”. A few months ago he also said that in Assam 4 million “termites” had been identified.
On behalf of India it has been declared that those who have been excluded from the final draft of the NRC, are Bangladeshi citizens and they would be sent back to Bangladesh. But, the foreign minister of Bangladesh Dr AK Abdul Momen said that his government was not worried with the issue of the people being excluded from the NRC list in Assam. Bangladesh trusts India in the issue of NRC, he said.
India insists that the exercise of the NRC is an internal issue of India. Our foreign minister, who won the national elections fraudulently like his all other minister and MP colleagues, repeated exactly what India’s foreign minister S Jaishankar had said.
“You all heard…he (Jaishankar) assured us that it (the NRC) was India’s internal issue and it would not create any problem for Bangladesh,” Dr Momen said.
Minister like Dr Momen and his colleagues have turned into India’s stooges. They are functioning like slaves for India. They took away people’s voting rights, rigged the general elections massively in favour of their Awami League party. They have ruined the country and turned Bangladesh into an Indian colony.

আসামের জাতীয় নাগরিক পঞ্জির চূড়ান্ত তালিকা প্রকাশ হবার পরে ভারতের ১৯ লাখ মানুষ এখন কার্যত রাষ্ট্রহীন।
এই নাগরিকত্বহীন মানুষকে ভারতের ক্ষমতাশীন বিজেপি বাংলাদেশি বলে চিহ্নিত করে। আসামের চূড়ান্ত নাগরিক তালিকায় ১৯ লাখ লোক বাদ পড়ার একদিন পরেই রাজ্যটির অর্থমন্ত্রী বিজেপি নেতা হিমন্ত বিশ্ব শর্মা বলেছেন, ‘১৪-১৫ লাখ বিদেশিকে চিহ্নিত করা হয়েছে। বাংলাদেশকে তাদের এই ১৪-১৫ লাখ লোককে ফিরিয়ে নিতে বলা হবে।’
ভারতে কথিত বাংলাদেশি অনুপ্রবেশকারীদের ‘উইপোকা’ বলে অভিহিত করেছিলেন ভারতের ক্ষমতাসীন দল বিজেপির সর্বভারতীয় সভাপতি অমিত শাহ। তার দাবি, ভারতের ভোটার তালিকায় বাংলাদেশিরা ঢুকে পড়ছেন। তাই খুঁজে খুঁজে ভোটার তালিকা উইপোকামুক্ত করবেন তারা। এন আর সি প্রসঙ্গে কিছুদিন আগে বলেছিলেন, আসামে ইতিমধ্যে এরকম ৪০ লাখ ‘উইপোকা’ চিহ্নিত করা হয়েছে।
ভারতের পক্ষ থেকে স্পষ্ট বলা হচ্ছে এই বাদ পড়া লোকগুলি বাংলাদেশি এবং তাদের বাংলাদেশে ফেরত পাঠানো হবে। অথচ বাংলাদেশের পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী ড. একে আবদুল মোমেন বলেছেন, আসামের এন আর সি তে বাদ পরা নাগরিকদের বিষয়টি নিয়ে বাংলাদেশ উদ্বিগ্ন নয়। তিনি বলেন, এ বিষয়ে ভারতের আশ্বাসের প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখে বাংলাদেশ।
ভারত যেভাবে আসামের সমস্যাকে ভারতের আভ্যন্তরিন বিষয় হিসেবে চিহ্নিত করে ঠিক একইভাবে ভারতের পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী জয়শংকরের কথার প্রতিধ্বনি করেছে ভোট চোর মন্ত্রি আবদুল মোমেন।
এই প্রসঙ্গে আবদুল মোমেন সাংবাদিকদের বলেছিলেন, “আপনারা শুনেছিলেন…তিনি (জয়শংকর) স্পষ্ট বলেছিলেন যে এটি ভারতের অভ্যন্তরীণ ব্যাপার এবং (বাংলাদেশের জন্য) কোনো সমস্যা হবে না,”।
বর্তমান শাসকদল ভারতের শাসকদের নিম্নস্তরের দালালে পরিনত হয়েছে। আনুগিত্য আর দাসোচিত মনোবৃত্তি নিয়ে এরা ভারতের কথার প্রতিধ্বনি করে চলে। জনগনের ভোটাধিকার হরণ করে, নির্বাচনে নিজেদের নেতা নির্বাচনের অধিকার হরণ করে এই নির্লজ্জ্ব আওয়ামী মাফিয়াতন্ত্র দেশটার সকল সর্বনাশের আয়োজন সম্পন্ন করে ফেলেছে এবং বাংলাদেশকে ভারতের উপনিবেশে এবং নিজেদের ভারতের দাসে পরিনত করেছে।
