He supports the current regime and the ruling party. He gives lesson to people asking them to love our nation. He organises many events and raises fund to help poor people.
He is good in writing. He has the ability to present different topics in amusing and interesting style. He provided voice-over for an animation film on the liberation war of Bangladesh. This way Arif became very popular online.
Bangladesh’s murderous security agencies are using this online celebrity aiming to garner people’s support in favour of extrajudicial killings. Arif has issued a call urging the murderous agencies to kill some people in extrajudicial action or so-called crossfire.
Two days ago, after a young man was hacked to death in Barguna the video of the violent machete attack became viral across the social media. In a Facebook post Arif wrote: “All so-called crossfires will lose their acceptability in the society if the killers in the case of Barguna are not killed in crossfire (by the security agencies).”
I urge the international community, human rights groups and the authorities of Facebook and others to support a strict policy not to allow any social media platform in support of a ghastly crime like extrajudicial killing.

বাংলাদেশে এমন অনলাইন সেলিব্রিটিকে বাংলাদেশের খুনে বাহিনীগুলো বিচার বহির্ভূত হত্যাকাণ্ডের জনপ্রিয়তা বাড়ানোর জন্য কাজে লাগিয়েছে। আরিফ আর হোসেইন প্রকাশ্যেই খুনে বাহিনীকে ক্রসফায়ারে বিচার বহির্ভূতভাবে হত্যার জন্য আহ্বান জানাচ্ছেন।
দু’দিন আগে ভাইরাল হওয়া স্ত্রীর সামনে কুপিয়ে স্বামীকে হত্যার ঘটনা সম্পর্কে নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর উদ্দ্যেশ্যে তিনি লিখেছেন, যদি বরগুণার হত্যাকারীদের ক্রসফায়ারে না হত্যা করা হয় তবে ভবিষ্যতে প্রতিটি ক্রস ফায়ারের গ্রহণযোগ্যতা হারাবে।
আমি আন্তর্জাতিক সম্প্রদায়ের, সারা পৃথিবীর মানবাধিকার সংস্থার ও ফেইসবুক সহ সকল সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ার দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করছি যেন মানবতাবিরোধী বিচার বহির্ভূতহত্যার পক্ষে সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ার প্ল্যাটফর্ম ব্যবহার করা না যায়।
আরিফ আর হোসেইন যে এক ভয়ংকর পর্যায়ের মানবাধিকার বিরোধী তা তার এই ফেসবুক পোস্টে স্পষ্ট। তিনি যেহেতু বিচার বহির্ভূত হত্যার পক্ষে প্রবলভাবে সোচ্চার হয়েছেন তার লেখা যারা পড়েন তাঁদের সকলের দায়িত্ব রয়েছে এমন মানবাধিকার বিরোধী মানুষের লেখা বর্জন করার।
