We love and welcome Pope Francis. The broad-minded leader has an amazing personality. He speaks on behalf of all oppressed people, irrespective of their faiths they follow and has become an icon for even many non-Christians. We cannot forget how warmly he welcomed the Muslim refugees from Syria when they landed in Europe.
His stand in support of humanity will make all of us in Bangladesh love and respect the followers of Christianity. With his actions the Pope Francis always makes best efforts to make the world more safe and livable for all his followers. All religious leaders should take lessons from this great man to make the world a nice place for all people on this earth.
পোপ ফ্রান্সিসকে স্বাগতম, তাকে আমরা ভালোবাসি। তিনি এক বিরল ব্যক্তিত্বের প্রতীক। তিনি শুধু খ্রীষ্ট ধর্মের অনুসারীদের পক্ষে কথা বলার মত সংকীর্ণ দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি পোষন করেন না বরং তিনি সবসময়েই জাতি, ধর্ম, বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে নির্যাতিত ও বঞ্চিত মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপন করছেন। আমরা এটা ভুলে যেতে পারিনা যে তিনি কত মমতায় সিরিয়ান রিফউজিদের ইউরোপে স্বাগত জানিয়েছেন।
মানবতার পক্ষে তাঁর সুদৃঢ় ও অবিচল অবস্থানের কারণে বাংলাদেশে অর্থাৎ আমাদের সমাজে স্বাভাবিক ভাবেই খ্রীষ্ট ধর্মের অনুসারীদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা ও সহানুভূতি বাড়বে। এভাবেই তিনি তাঁর ধর্মানুসারীদের জন্য এই পৃথিবীটাকে আরো নিরাপদ ও বাসযোগ্য করে তুলছেন।
