Thomas Jefferson said: “Nothing is then unchangeable but the inherent and inalienable rights of man.”
Let’s see what all those infrangible human rights are.
They are freedom of thoughts, freedom of speech, personal freedom, freedom of press, equality and equal rights for all. Those who are violating these rights every day are saying that the Constitution cannot be changed. Why do we have to accept their logic in the opposite direction?

সাবেক আমেরিকান রাষ্ট্রপতি জেফারসন বলেছিলেন, Nothing is then unchangeable but the inherent and inalienable rights of man.” অর্থাৎ জন্মগত, এবং যা অলঙ্ঘনীয় এমন মানবিক অধিকারগুলো ছাড়া আর কোন কিছুই অপরিবর্তনীয় নয়।
এই অলঙ্ঘনীয় মানবিক অধিকারগুলো কী?
এগুলো হচ্ছে, চিন্তার স্বাধীনতা, বাক স্বাধীনতা, ব্যক্তি স্বাধীনতা, সংবাদপত্রের স্বাধীনতা, সাম্য, নাগরিক মাত্রের সমান সুযোগ।
এই অলঙ্ঘনীয় মানবিক অধিকারগুলোকে যারা প্রতিনিয়ত পদদলিত করেছে তারাই বলে সংবিধান অপরিবর্তনীয়। এই উল্টা লজিক আমাদের কেন গ্রহণ করতে হবে?
