He aimed to spread an impression that Bangladeshi Muslims were turning to extremism and targeting non-Muslims in different types of hate attacks. But, he has ended up committing a blunder by issuing a threat to Marcia Bernicat, the US ambassador in Dhaka. He has now been caught.
Some Hindus in fact support the activities of people like Sujon to increase communal polarization in the society and trigger riots to fulfill their wishes to send a message across India that Hindus are being persecuted in Bangladesh. This way those Bangladeshi Hindus can help Hindu nationalist BJP garner more Hindu votes in India and stay on in power.
