Hindu temple of Shree Shree Sitakali, juxtaposed with the central mosque in Jamia Darul Uloom Hathajari, the biggest private Islamic school in Bangladesh, for centuries. So far there is no history of any untoward incident between the thousands of students and teachers of the Islamic school and the Hindus who  worship in the temple. This wonderful Bangladeshi example proves that, in their respective places of worship, although they are placed side by side, two different religious beliefs can co-exist in perfect harmony.

শ্রী শ্রী সীতাকালী হিন্দু মন্দির, বাংলাদেশের সর্ববৃহৎ কওমি মাদ্রাসা হাটহাজারি জামিয়া দারুল উলুমের কেন্দ্রীয় মসজিদের পাশেই শতবর্ষ ধরে পাশাপাশি অবস্থান করছে। আজ পর্যন্ত এই মাদ্রাসার দশ সহস্রাধিক ছাত্র আর শিক্ষকের সাথে এই মন্দিরের হিন্দু পুজারিদের কোন অপ্রীতিকর ঘটনা ঘটেনি। এইটা দুই ধর্মীয় সম্প্রদায়ের শান্তিপুর্ণ সহাবস্থানের চমৎকার দৃষ্টান্ত। বাংলাদেশের এই চমৎকার ছবিটি এটাই প্রমাণ করে দুই উপাসনালয় একদম গায়ে গা লাগিয়ে পাশাপাশি থাকলেও তবুও তারা মিলমিশ করে পাশাপাশি তাঁদের নিজস্ব ধর্মীয় চর্চা চালিয়ে যেতে পারে।
