In the dead of night election and party offices of BNP are being set on fire. Posters, banners and festoons of the opposition party are being vandalised and set on fire. In the past two days at least in four districts such attacks took place.
Seeking remedies the opposition party leaders lodged complaints to the Returning Officers and the Election Commission. The attacks by the ruling party miscreants are continuing relentlessly.

ধানের শীষের প্রার্থীদের ওপর হামলা অব্যাহত আছে। গভীর রাতে আগুনে পুড়িয়ে দেওয়া হচ্ছে বিএনপির নির্বাচনী ও দলীয় কার্যালয়। ধানের শীষের পোস্টার টাঙানোই যাচ্ছে না। লাগালেই নামিয়ে পুড়িয়ে দেওয়া হচ্ছে। গত বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে ও গতকাল শুক্রবার চার জেলায় এসব হামলা, ভাঙচুর ও আগুনের ঘটনা ঘটেছে।
এসব আক্রমণের প্রতিকার চেয়ে রিটার্নিং কর্মকর্তাদের কাছে আবেদন করা হলেও কোনো পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া হচ্ছে না।
