It’s clear now that the Awami League leaders are behind all violent communal attacks which are targeting Hindu temples and households in Bangladesh- Hindu community leader D N Chatterjee, who heads Dhaka City Public Puja Committee, said.
However, the secular and leftist media and the political workers have long blamed Jamaat-BNP-Islamist groups for such anti-Hindu attacks. India’s Hindutva groups echoed the blames. Indian Hindutva groups use the incidents of persecution of Bangladeshi Hindus for their political interest in India. But, they blame the barbaric attacks on the Bangladeshi groups who are actually innocent or not any way connected to those incidents.
The most interesting case is that those who are engineering these anti-Hindu violence is Awami League which heads Bangladesh’s so-called secular groups and happens to be a good friend of India’s Hindu nationalist party of BJP.
The charge against Awami League is very serious in this case. Let’s see now how the PM defends her party.
সারা দেশে হিন্দু ধর্মাবলম্বীদের মন্দির-ঘরবাড়ি কিংবা ব্যক্তির ওপর যে হামলা হচ্ছে, এর সবগুলোই আওয়ামী লীগের নেতাদের দ্বারা কিংবা তাঁদের পৃষ্ঠপোষকতায় হয়েছে। এ কথা বলেছেন ঢাকা মহানগর সর্বজনীন পূজা কমিটির সভাপতি হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের নেতা ডি এন চ্যাটার্জী।
অথচ এতোদিন ধরে স্যেকুলার ও বাম মিডিয়া ও রাজনৈতিক কর্মিরা হিন্দুদের উপরে হামলার দায় চাপাতো জামাত, বি এন পি ও ইসলামপপন্থী দলগুলোর উপরে। একই বয়ান দিতো ভারতের হিন্দুত্ববাদীরা। বাংলাদেশে হিন্দু নির্যাতনের ঘটনাকে ভারতের অভ্যন্তরে নিজের রাজনৈতিক সুবিধায় ব্যবহার করে ভারতের হিন্দুত্ববাদীরা অথচ তারা এই বর্বর কাজের দায় চাপায় তাদের উপরেই যারা এই কাজ ঘটায়নি।
আশ্চর্য বিষয় হচ্ছে, এই নির্যাতন করছে স্যেকুলার রাজনীতির শীর্ষ রাজনৈতিক দল আওয়ামীলীগ, যাদের সাথে হিন্দুত্ববাদী বিজেপির ভালো সম্পর্ক আছে বলেই আমরা দেখছি।
যেহেতু অভিযোগ গুরুতর তাই হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের অভিযোগ সম্পর্কে আওয়ামীলীগের সভানেত্রী কী বলেন সেটা দেখার অপেক্ষায় আছি।
