Students visit foreign countries to study there on scholarship from those countries. Have you ever heard lower level students studying in their own countries on scholarship sent by other countries? Have you tried to think or understand why India is so keen to offer scholarships to the children of freedom fighters in Bangladesh?
Will India accept it if a country, which supports the freedom struggle of Kashmir, seeks to offer scholarships to the children of Kashmiri freedom fighters? Will India agree if China wants to scholarship to the children of Naxals or Maoists? Or, will India accept if Bangladesh offers scholarships to the children of Indian Bengali freedom fighters?

পৃথিবীতে নানা দেশ নিজের দেশে এসে পড়বার জন্য বৃত্তি দিয়ে থাকে। কিন্তু আরেক দেশের তৃণমূল শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য সেই দেশেই আরেক দেশের ভাতা দেয়ার কোন নজির আছে কি?
ধরেন, যেই দেশ কাশ্মীরিদের মুক্তিসংগ্রামের সমর্থক তারা যদি কাশ্মীরের স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামীদের সন্তানদের ভাতা দিতে চায় ভারত কি সেটা দিতে দেবে? চিন যদি নকশালি আর মাওবাদীদের সন্তানদের ভাতা দিতে চায় তাহলে কি ভারত রাজী হবে? এমনকি বাংলাদেশ যদি ভারতের বাঙালি স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামীদের সন্তানদের ভাতা দিতে চায় তাহলে কি তারা রাজী হবে?
