India has announced it will deport all #Muslim #Rohingya #refugees to #Myanmar because, India said, they are prone to be involved in Islamic terrorism and so is a threat to the country. But, not a single Rohingya refugee in India has ever been even investigated for terrorism-related crime. On the other hand, they fled their homeland after becoming victims of a state-sponsored terrorism in Myanmar.

India, which is ruled by Hindu nationalist BJP, is planning to drive away the poor Rohingya refugees simply to please the country’s saffron or right-wing Hindu forces. However, the human rights activists in India are trying their best to stand in support of the genuine refugees who fled Myanmar to save their lives. These Indian rights activists- not the Indian State- are our friends. Rights activists should always stand in support of the oppressed people across the world this way.

ভারত ঘোষণা করেছে যে তারা আশ্রয় নেয়া সকল মুসলমান রোহিঙ্গাদের তাড়িয়ে দেবে। তাড়িয়ে দেয়ার কারণ হিসেবে ভারত বলছে, এরা নাকি ভারতের বিরুদ্ধে ইসলামিক সন্ত্রাসবাদে জড়িয়ে যেতে পারে তাই তারা ভারত রাষ্ট্রের প্রতি হুমকি তৈরি করতে পারে। কিন্তু ভারতে আশ্রয় নেয়া রোহিঙ্গা শরনার্থীরা ক্রিমিন্যাল নয়, এদের বিরুদ্ধে কোন ক্রিমিন্যাল রেকর্ড নেই, এদের বিরুদ্ধে কখনো কোন ক্রিমিন্যাল ইনভেস্টিগেশন হয়নি; বরং এরা মায়ানমারের রাষ্ট্রীয় সন্ত্রাসের ভিকটিম হয়ে নিজের দেশ থেকে শুধু প্রাণটা নিয়ে পালিয়ে এসেছে।

হিন্দুত্ববাদি দল বিজেপি দিয়ে শাসিত ভারত এই অসহায় রোহিঙ্গাদের তাড়িয়ে দিয়ে ভারতের গেরুয়াপন্থিদের খুশী করতে চায়। তবে রুখে দাড়িয়েছে ভারতের মানবাধিকার কর্মিরা; তারা তাঁদের সাধ্যমতো প্রতিরোধ জারি রেখেছে যেন জেনুইন শরনার্থীরা এই অন্যায় আচরণের শিকার না হয়। ভারত রাষ্ট্র নয় ভারতের এই রুখে দাঁড়ানো মানুষেরা আমাদের বন্ধু। এই স্পিরিট নিয়ে সবজায়গায় মানবাধিকার লংঘণ রুখে দিন।
